Remarks
I chose this college because I was very keen in doing btech in biotechnology and Heritage was the best option in Kolkata. The campus is huge and well maintained, the library has over 50,000 books, the classrooms are well ventilated and the laboratories has modern instruments. It has playgrounds, canteen and all other facilities that I wanted in college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is updated. It is one of the best private institutions in West Bengal. Yes, we are provided with industrial exposure but it is very limited like 2-3 times in our entire btech course. The faculties are very student friendly and knowledgeable. Apart from few, most of them loves to teach students and guides them for a better future.
Placement Experience
The companies that visit our campus are mostly IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys,etc. Core companies like Nestle,Dabur also visits. Amazon and byjus are the other companies that also visit our campus. The placement department is very good for CSE and IT departments as there are lot of IT companies that comes to the college for recruitment but other departments like Mechanical, Civil, Biotechnology, Chemical don't get too many options as very few core companies comes here for recruitment. There are few startups done by my seniors and batchmates who are very much successful in that as college supports them a lot.
College Events
If want to have a active college life then you must come to this college, it has a lot of Clubs catering to the co curricular activities of the students. It has a students body that takes of college fests and freshers.
Campus Life
The college campus is very well maintained. The library is huge and air conditioned having over 50,000 books, there are two playgrounds, basketball court and three canteens inside the campus. It has free wifi all over the campus and the laboratories are modern and air conditioned.
