RAN SHER's Review On NIT Silchar, Silchar

Good environment conditions with large number of of trees and lakes and mountains nearby and with whole year rainy season making good atmosphere throughout the year. Large number of good faculties with huge teaching experience available. Scope of research is very high with large number of dedicated scholars. Good education facility with best library and best transportation facility to reach from home to college and college to city nearby.

I think course sallabus of my branch Electronics and Communication Engineering is sufficient to acquire sufficient theoretical knowledge about the subject and all lab experience is sufficient to get updated about the present situation in industry. All the faculties we're good on the basis of teaching, nature and evaluation in exams. I can choose one as Bijith Chaudhary.

I opted my internship on basis of my resume. I have learnt the content writing and that's why I went to for that profile and through interview I got selected for internship. Company- InCampus Ltd. Profile -Content Executive Spendid- Unpaid Resume and Interview was done at time of selection.

In our institute there are large number of private companies and PSUs are visiting every year to offer jobs to the students. Such private companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Bajaj, byjus, goibibo, amul etc Many of them offering jobs of software developer, app developer and website developer profiles. Placement procedure is good. First pointer criteria, then written tests, interview etc. I'm in second year so I haven't much idea about the alumni referrals and successful startup by mates.

There is technical fest for our college which runs nearly 2 months organizing all technical events to evolve student in experimental world with distribution of prizes. participation is huge due to involvement of other college students in our college. Cultural fest is also organized on every such occasion to make participation of the student in dancing, singing, art, poetry, story writing, quizzes etc. Huge participation is observed. Every time Institute is organizing events of sports and for athletic in college to make the student fit physically and mentally. Prize distribution with certificate is provided to each student of participation and winner gets medals. Participation is big in numbers.

I haven't availabled any scholarship. College has bank (State bank of India) which provides education loan at cheap rates.

With no doubts I can say that the infrastructure of NIT silchar is one of the best in all NITs. NIT Silchar has more than 5 building with nearly 200 class rooms with more than 50 student capacity. Each branch has it's separate classroom, building and laboratories with faculties available. For the sport there two stadiums. One for cricket and other for football. There is separate vollyball and basketball track. The Institute has all the sport facility like kabaddi, table tennis, chess, and all others. Every time Institute is organizing events of sports and for athletics. Every hostels and classroom has 24*7 wifi facility. Institute has one of the biggest library of India with large number of books available. Institute has separate labs for each branch with all equipment available.

As of my experience I have lived in two hostel. In first year, I was in Aryabhata hostel. It is one of the best because it's design is best than others. Rooms are quite large and beds are good with 2 student in each room. Two separate books and other stuff keeping place is available. Two table with lock in each and two chairs available. Lights is available for 24*7 hours. Transportation facility to the hostel is quite good and easy. English toilets available here are awesome. Rent for the hostel is constant and is 30000 per year In 2nd year I was in Hostel 9. It is the new hostel with all new facilities. Good environment, good wifi, lighting, good location, good design, good water facility with large capacity. Rent for the hostel is constant and is 30000 Rs. per year. To get this hostel pointer of student should be good.
