Remarks
It is one of the top 10 NIT of the country and situated itself in the state. It also have a good reputation and have heard a lot about it from passed out seniors from 12 th. Moreover I applied for other courses too like biotechnology, but perhaps my percentile was not worth of getting a seat in other branches or other top colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is updated. But it depends purely on the students how curious one is about its industrial exposure. The facilities have always encouraged for any kind of new and exposed ideas and internships. And also helpful.
Internships Opportunities
Just some simple internship about content writing and looking forward for more of other types. Profile name: piparadox, the engineering community.
Placement Experience
Quite a good number of companies from IT sectors as well as PSU sectors visits the campus. Do not have a good idea as about the profile offered along with the number of students placed and about the placement process as I just started the campus life and learning about it. The alumni networking for job offerels is notable in this case as stated by some seniors.
College Events
The campus life is quite interesting and a bit hectic as all our seniors and mentors are fully active and enthusiastic. Technoesis is our technical event and its extremely interesting as we the new ones get introduced to a lot of new stuffs from coding to management. Besides the college helds a lot other competitions. Cultural and management ground also grasps an amazing time. And the participation is quite remarkable be it from the enthusiastic seniors, teachers or classmates.
Campus Life
Campus Infrastructure is quite good but it can be made better to speak honestly. Sports facilities are quite average. Wi-fi facility is not that great. I myself face difficulties when opted to choose the wi-fi. The connection at some points and areas in it can be made better. Library is good but very very less number of books. Even it becomes difficult to get access to our course books regarding to the strength of the students in the campus. It should be highly paid attention. And equipments in some lab is average as against for some other as it utterly low grade especially ec lab.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms for 1st year are such that each room accomodates 3 people and it's quite spacious.(for Girls) Second years are accomodated two in each room. It has a proper food serving time and a very responsible management group taken over by seniors and keeps a regular check at the food quality and quantity. It is average in case of availing the hostel facility. Each hostel is monitored by hostel prefects and each of them are responsible and sincere, trying their best to maintain their hostels at its best.
