Management sucks but you need the joint effort to get past it CSE department is well backed by all the faculties against any forced management rules. We enjoyed open lab hours 24*7 just because of our faculties.

AIEEE Score 5600 I choose NIT Calicut because of the faculties in CSE Department as well as an a good platform for placements.

Tathva the techfest its one of the best there are showcases from ISRO, Indian Army several competitions, robotics etc ragam the cultural fest one of the largest in south india. The crowd gathering for the main shows vary between 5 8k its a lot of fun.

During my time it costed around 50k per year i do not have knowledge of current fees but i heard it has been revised and almost doubled.It is one of the expensive NITs but with excellent infrastructure, Hence worth the feasibility.

There are several scholarships offered by the college but i do not remember the details of any the banks offer loans as well and has tie up with the college.

We had a cricket ground of National Standard but was not much taken care off due to politics. The basketball team is one of the best there are multiple sports i don't think we miss a tema for any sports its open to all and there are no gender issues boys and girls play together.

The hostel rooms are single as well as sharing all depends on which hostel you are allotted rooms are big and you will never feel congested mees food too is dependent on choices each hostel has its own mess you can opt for any of them.

Alumni network is still building and has a strong hold on the College network they affect placements as well. We have hosted several talks by Alumnus on Placements, Higher Studies, Research areas inter university relations.

Exams structures vary based on courses but the general category is 80% main exams and 20% regular tests/ projects labs are fun loving its all on how you take it.
