I had chosen my college because it has lots of exposure, quality teaching, extra curricular opportunities, also because it has a commendable ranking for its course in the entire northeast. Also, given the fact that today, the Institute has been ranked high amongst Institutes of higher learning in the country by several rating agencies including India Today, Career 360 and Times Magazine.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, my college had always been updated with latest syllabus. In the form of class presentations, we have learning opportunities. Class presentations also help in building confidence. We are also been taken for various team building excursion and events.
Internships Opportunities
I did an internship for two months in Tradester(Company of Chennai) and it was a work from home internship. I earned a stipend of Rs.5000/month. I had a profile of Business Development.
Placement Experience
My college has good placement opportunities. ITC, Godrej, Deloitte, etc are some companies which offer placement in our college. The placement process is through Curriculum Vitae of every individual and through personal interviews. The placement cell in our college is well organized and gives fair opportunity to every student.
College Events
Campus life in my college is enthusiastic. Extracurricular activities is full of opportunities. We also have inter college events to explore and grab opportunity. We have a grand college fest every year called INVICTUS. It has gained fame in entire West Bengal and also students from entire India Participate in the events.
Campus Life
We have well maintained basketball court,volleyball court, table tennis facility and other sports infrastructure. Also, we have Computer Labs and Library (Learning Resource Center) with wifi connection and air conditioning facility. And Library is always updated with latest maganizes, journals, etc.
