Remarks
I opted for NIT Kurukshetra because it is one of the top NIT. As per my score it was the best NIT which I could get. I like the campus of the college very much. I chose civil engineering here because the placement is good and I want government job.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is systematic and the entire course is divided into eight semesters in four years. The curriculum is updated and the college provides ample amount of industrial exposure. The faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced. Dr JK Kapoor is my favourite.
Placement Experience
The placement is outstanding. The placement percentage was almost 100% for CSE and IT department last year. There is a training and placement cell which looks after the placement and interships for the students. For other the placement percentage is average. The alumni network is strong and supportive.
College Events
The campus is neat and clean and green. It is full of enjoyment and learnings. There are fests like Techspardha, Confluence, Utkarsh, Independence day, Republic day et cetra celebrated here. This involves participants in large number from inside and outside of the college.
Hostel Facilities
In first year we have three seater sharing rooms. But from second year onwards single seater room is allotted to each student. The rooms have wifi and are well maintained. The room rent is 5000 per semester for single seater.
