B.A. Program. My college is one of the best in Delhi and for the course. It is among the best in delhi university and near to where I stay.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is for 3 years where we read different subjects like economic and political science apart from 2 language courses. Students also get to choose other subjects.

Internships Opportunities

No internship offered or stipend. I was a regular student of Delhi university and choose to work at the same time. I was happy with both. When I graduated I already had a experience of 3 years and I was getting paid enough compared to people who started to work after their studies.

College Events

My college organises many technical cultural festivals. One of the biggest is the annual festival organiseduring the forth quater of the year by my college is a must to attend. Nexus us very popular among the south campus students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. Everyone can afford it. Was approximately 3000 or 4000. Quarterly.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was an average student so didn't qualify for any scholarship etc. Nothing much to brag about, but had a DTC bus pass to travel free of cost.

Campus Life

I cherish my college life. Campus life. Beautiful boys and girls, every day was exciting and fun and happening. Cultural activities, sports competition, parties, political activities, friends.

Hostel Facilities

I didn't use hostel facilities. Canteen food was absolutely delicious. My favorite was pav bhaji and sambar wada. A milk shake outside in caventers was a everyday deal.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

My college seniors were good. They had me involved in many political activities and sports activities.

Exam Structure

Examination are as per the guidelines of Delhi university. 3 annual examinations are conducted. Qualifiers moves to next year. Clearing call the subject will award you a degree.

Faculty

Faculty of the college is good. I have experience of reading in one college only so cannot compare with any other. But yes ofcourse faculty is good. Very good teacher, nice liberary, very good canteen, and one if the best play ground.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
