Remarks

A quite average placement record and vieng on of the best college in eastern India.The college has a decent infrastructure.The classroom and most of the lab are air-conditioned. The library of the college is huge and has a good collection of books. The college shares its playground with another college. The college computer lab is wifi enabled.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm currently pursuing b.tech in computer science and engineering. The teaching is not that good. There are only a few teachers who are actually very good, others are not that good. The curriculum is updated.

Course Fees: INR 493000 per year

Placement Experience

Regarding the placement, if you gain average knowledge and will remain serious you will surely get placed. The best thing is that many companies come to recruit and the average salary offered is 3.5-4 LPA. The highest being 10 LPA offered by Byjus followed by Microsoft. Do not worry regarding the placement, regarding placement it gives you lots of opportunities to apply for but be serious at that time.

Wifi only for college staffs. Canteen is good but overpriced. A common room is there. Library is quite good has books from prominent authors but in limited quantity. Apart from the course books which they will provide you other books are quite limited.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
