IIT review

IIT Roorkee is the oldest technical university in Asia previously known as Thompson college of engineering. Like other top IITs, it has wonderful placement records where every year 2..3 students gest more than 1 crore package. Like other IITs, it has a very good academic curriculum and the way of teaching students is just awesome. The beauty of the campus and the environment inside the campus is addictive because u will never want to leave that. The support u will get from seniors and professors is just awesome u will never feel boring. Every year many researchers make new inventions and create new things for making our life easy. They represent India in much international competition and wins.

The course curriculum is much advanced. U will get big labs of everything. There is a lecture class, doubt class, and lab for every course. Professors are many advances and much helpful they will help u at every stage give you a platform to do some new and big thing.

Companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe visit the campus for internships. Major internship areas are software and analytics where most student gets an intern.

As with other IITs placement of Iit Roorkee is just wow. Placement starts from the 7th semester of btech student. The average package is around 10-12 lacks per annum where maximums is 1.5crore. more than 200 companies including google Microsoft visits to the campus. And almost every student gets placed. In core, the average package is 8-10lacks where in noncore it is about 12 lack per annum. The highest package in India is about 50lacks

The tuition fee is 1 lack per semester and you will have to pay 30 thousand per semester extra for things like mess fee hostel fee etc. If your income is less than 5 lack u will get a fee waiver on tuition fee and if the tuition fee is less than 1 lack u will get a full fee waiver on tuition fee. There is also a merit cum scholarship of 10k. In addition, u will get many other scholarship ships if u belong to SC, ST category

Campus life I just awesome. There are many technical and cultural clubs inside campus like to explore all the field whatever u can think to do is available there. There is a cultural fest named Thomson and a technical fest named cognizance. These two are just awesome you will enjoy alot in these tests and also get to explore many fields and just follow your hobby. There are many technical clubs where you will get exposure to the industrial system of the country. That's why it is one of the best colleges because besides academic life these lives are just awesome and one time in life. U will enjoy sports like cricket, hockey, football there are clubs for every sport.

hostels are awesome having a well-sized room. U will get a bed chair table and many more things. Meal quality is very good You will get a variety of food including nonveg.
