The college management is not the best but does a fairly good job.

This curriculum majorly deals with the optimisation of the supply chain, production processes, and inventory systems. In the first and second years, we learn a lot of different subjects namely: physics1, chemistry 1, mathematics1, mathematics2, bio, environmental studies, electronics, electrical, mechanics, etc. This course does provide industry-specific knowledge for students who want to go for core jobs. No industry visits were organized by the college for students but 4 credits were allotted for any industrial internship.

The companies that visited the campus for their placement drives are: Apple, PwC India, Amazon, Gartner, Honeywell, nestle, EXL, Zomato, Oyo rooms, Zilingo, Wells Fargo, standard chartered, Genpact, ZS associates, TVS motocorp, jaguar-land rover, Experian, futures first, auctus advisors, BCG, McKinsey, Societe generally, etc. Above nearly 90% students get placed every year. Institute does conduct workshops to hone students' soft skills and cv making skills.

Majorly two kinds of festivals are conducted by our college teams namely the techno-management fest and cultural fest. Kshitij - it is the annual techno-management fest and is among Asia's biggest techno-management fests. Various competitions are held during its 3 - 4 days duration. These competitions include robot wars, Robo soccer, aerial vehicle race competition, etc. Spring Fest - It is the annual cultural festival and is one of the biggest fests in Asia. A lot of cultural events and competitions are conducted during this festival which includes: dance competitions, music band competitions, celebrity nights, etc.

My program fee was 156000 annually, the modes of payment accepted by the college are physical payment through challan, net banking, debit card, and loan payment. There is no additional fee required to get admission into this college and course. The college does provide transparency in the fee breakdown.

The college provides an mcm scholarship for students who belong to poor families. The eligibility for an mcm scholarship is that the family income should be below 500000 rupees. College also provides facilities to avail of loan.

The gender ratio is almost all the IITs of the country is poor. The girl to boy ratio in my college is 1:11. There are various societies in my college a student can be a part of after he gets admitted to the college namely: debating society, technology dance society, technology dramatics society, technology robotics society, etc. Apart from these societies, a student can be a part of a research group who does work in various fields like automated ground vehicles, underwater automated vehicles, race kart, aerial robotics, Robo soccer, etc.

I opted for the hostel. The hostel rooms are not top-notch as they've been there for almost 61 years. The hostels have all the basic amenities ranging from bathrooms to geysers to washing machines. The hostel also has various playing fields for sports activities.

The alumni network of my college is huge. The students majorly connect with alums through their respective hostels. There is an alumni group also which conducts annual alumni meet where batches 10 years apart visit the college and refresh their memories.

I opted for this course because I wanted a diverse department which leaves me opportunities to dabble into various engineering fields. Factors that made me choose this institution were: name tag, good placement record, best faculty in the country, exposition to international events, etc. You have to give JEE mains and qualify it to give JEE advanced and then get into the merit list to get selected in this college.

A tentative number of lectures in my course throughout the duration, of course, were 1600. The average age for students getting into this course would be 17-20. The students should have passed 12 board examinations or equivalent to be eligible to give JEE mains. The lecturers are very well trained and have relevant industry experience in their respective fields.
