Remarks

I wanted to study electrical engineering as it has always been a very interesting field of study. Although it was not my first career option I have always had interest in this field. I chose this college as my sister also went to this college before me.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum needs to be updated with everchanging society. The department faculty is very responsive and teaches the students well. Laboratories were taken very well with regular viva and with proper equipments

Class Size: 11Course Fees: INR 483000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is well as long as it is restricted to IT jobs but Core Industry placements are not very common

College Events

So far I've only experienced the fresher's event held for us and the intra technical event before the pandemic. Both of them were organized very well by the students of the various college clubs. There is a lot of participation in these fests with very interesting events.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
