Remarks
The college, being located in the IT hub of West Bengal, is well connected to other parts of the city and the surrounding sub-urban areas through various mode of transportation like local train, public and private buses, shuttle service, etc. In terms of academics it's on par with the other private colleges of the city but it offers more freedom for club activities and participation in various competitions and co-curricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty may sometimes appear annoying or negligent but some of them are really kind and always ready to help. The course syllabus is updated in terms of AICTE, UGC, & MAKAUT mandates. Also, the college has received NBA accreditation as well for departments like CSE, IT, EE, etc.
Placement Experience
Most of the students get placed in IT companies like TCS, wipro, cognizant, LTI, etc. The college brings some companies from core sector in college for pool campussing but they are limited.
College Events
It has separate technical, literary, cultural, NSS clubs which organize the annual technical, literary and cultural fests respectively. The technical fest Edge is largest in the city in terms of participation and 2nd largest in the state after IIT KGP. The literary fest Eclectica is also unique as no other private engineering college in the city has any literary club or fest. The cultural club also organises the fresher welcome and conducts auditions for the events like Mr. & Miss Fresher, singing, dancing, photography, and art & craft.
Campus Life
Most of the labs are well equipped. There's one small sports ground. Most of the matches for games like cricket & football are played in a separate sports ground nearby our college. The college offers wifi facility but in limited slots and the speed is moderate. The main college library provides books to all the departments and now appears to be falling short of the needs hence recently separate small departmental libraries were created in addition to serve the purpose.
