Remarks

Name & fame. My college is one of the oldest IITs. And having a large alumni base has helped me a lot. The environment here is also very competitive and hols a lot of opportunities. The professors are highly competent.

Course Curriculum Overview

Not very updated but some courses are highly interesting. Also we have courses with EC, EE & CS as well so the development is wholesome and allows for a lot of options in circuital. Pursuing is also easy and the peers make an even better place.

Class Size: 6Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Bajaj Auto, GTE Intern, 30000, 90 mins. technical test + 2 tech interviews + 1 hr interview

A lot of core, software, consultancy, FMCG, Data analytics, ML/AI companies come for internships and placements.

College Events

A general championship is held between the hostels in sports, social-cultural and technical domains. Apart from this we also have inter IITs in these domains. There a lot of cells, societies, research groups etc. to foster your growth.

Campus Life

All kinds of indoor and outdoor sports. A fully equipped gymkhana. A stadium with synthetic track. A field the size of 2 football fields and 2 cricket grounds. High speed wifi in hostels, campus and classes. Individual LAN ports for every student. Full AC classes. 2 auditoriums. Largest library.

Hostel Facilities

My hostel is double room sharing with attached bathroom between 2 adjacent rooms with balcony for each room. Hostels are available for all and it's mandatory to stay in hostels. A chair and table is provided as wel for each student. The mess is available in veg and non veg option giving food 4 times a day.

Hostel Fee: INR 30500 per year

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
