Remarks
Before counselling i went through various websites nd found this is not so bad college. Probably one of the best private colleges in Kolkata. I also took advice off my teachers and seniors to get more knowledge about it. So it sound quite good to me as a college. Lastly according to my WBJEE rank i got allotted here.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is quite good but the size of the college is one of the disadvantages. There indivisual care of the students are not possible for these reasons. The seniors are quite group and we also have a anti ragging squad. There are various clubs like the technical club, nss club, writers, social club,sports club etc.The seniors are also quite good enough to help with notes and materials. The teacher are also frienddly. The faculties are more or less good. The routine is however of certain concerns.The labs are also quite good.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities from the in campus placements is not so good. Majority of the students who get placed are from CSE or IT department that too in It or mass recruiter companies. This year above 400 students got placed according to the officiall notice.The core branch get very less placed until they have some very good coding skills.
College Events
The campus life is not so good. At the middle of sectors there is not even a xerox shop. There was no canteen however a new one is recently made. We all have to eat roadside foods if we want to eat something that too at high prices. Coming to the events we have almost 2nd largest tech fest in north east india.Our cultural feat is also mentionable. Moreover many competitions of various fields are conducted the clubs. Students can also apply for both intra and inter college competitions. However the senior junior relation is also quite important.
