Remarks

I opted this college to take admission as i have heard about this Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering, from seniors who have passed out and pursuing at this college are my neighbours and there are few relatives who graduated from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The academics and course curriculum are revised and updated as it would enough industrial exposure in mechanical engineering field, the faculties are trained and experienced enough to take class for us especially providing us application level knowledge.

Course Fees: INR 76000 per year

The Entrepreneur Cell in our college is motivating each and every student to brainstorm their ideas, especially our Kerala Technological University promotes this and startups. The placements at our college is mainly focussing to recruit IT students from computer science engineering and MCA students.

College Events

The festivals and events held at our college is at a big level participating more than hundreds of college at ernakulam district where in our campus following fests are conducted such as technical fests, management fests, cultural fests, sports, seminars, presentations etc.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

I applied to various colleges for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. Other colleges such as FISAT, SCMS, and AdiShankara offered courses other than computer science and was also having high admission fees, compared to SNGCE. First, you have to pay a registration fee of 500 and book your seat for a specific subject, on the assurance of obtaining a good, reasonable mark in the 12th. Then, after the announcement of 12th result, we can fix the seat by paying the caution deposit of Rs 10000 for the desired subject. For the same, certain criteria should be passed: 1) The KEAM entrance exam, the student should have a reasonable rank, enabling him/her to obtain the seats more likely than others. 2) For the 12th, a reasonable mark should be obtained by the student to increase the likelihood of obtaining a seat....Read More
