I have searches from the internet and found that various websites suggest it after IEM

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is quite good with the new syllabus from MAKAUT.However the books found in the library is very old and that is why we need to buy various books from outside. The faculties are more or less friendly. It depends from students to students. They however help us in many ways in the lab classes. the course fall under MAKAUT just like any other colleges under Techno India Group follows.We also have several clubs which has different perspectives like a Tech club,NSS club, Writers Club,Sports Club,Cultural club.The seniors are quite goods and it also depends on the bonding between seniors and juniors.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 480000 per year

Placement Experience

The job placements are not very good in the core branches but are quite good in the branches like CSE,IT.Most of them are mass recruiters and a few tech company comes to our college.Moreover this year Microsoft will be recriting 2 students from our college. Majority of the students eiher sit for off campus placements or opt for higher studies.

College Events

the campus is quite small because Techno India School, Techno University and Techno Main Salt Lake falls under same campus. The field is also quite small. We have two separate buildings for our college and our college canteen is recently opened. Various tech fest such as EDGE is the 2nd largest tech fest in West Bengal and several cultural and various types of fest are conducted by various clubs of my college. Moreover NSS club also organises blood donation camps. We also take part in competition in both intra and inter college.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
