The Faculty for Civil engineering department was well known all of the top universities in Kolkata and having a good placement opportunities. It was located near the city and communication was also reliable.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well the course we're not much upgraded as compared to international standards of civil engineering technology. We were studying the basics and thumb rule of the system. Modern technologies were not introduced. We were provided industrial exposure at our second year.The faculties were very motivating and friendly although only few of them teach there at present. Placement Experience
TCS was the only recruiting company that was officially trying to recruit. It was a harsh time for the civil engineering department as we never got any referral of any construction or designing company.
College Events
The College event club use to organise lots of tech events and sports events every semester. Not much of an extracurricular activities took place apart from the annual fest of the college. The annual sports and inter College championship used to get a good attention though.
Campus Life
It consists of 3 building with an open space in the middle and a playground a bit away from the main building. It has good speed wifi allover the campus. A huge library with a reading area available. Air Conditioning is available in most of the classes and room.
