Remarks

The factors that took away my attention to take admission at Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering is its position under Mahatma Gandhi University, the college has well trained faculties, facilities for commutation everywhere in Ernakulam district.

The course curriculum is modified every year with the changes happening in the core industry, the faculties are given well training to give excellent guidance for us to get our dream job in our dream company.

The company visits our college every year and majority of those companies are IT companies that is wonderful opportunity for students that does computer science engineering at Sree Narayana Gurukulam college of engineering for their graduation and also for MCA students.

The college holds technical fests, management fests, seminar, presentations, cultural fests, Arts fest every year, this fest and events are conducted in an excellent and big. The students from different college reach us to get students opportunities to mould their abilities.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

I applied to various colleges for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. Other colleges such as FISAT, SCMS, and AdiShankara offered courses other than computer science and was also having high admission fees, compared to SNGCE. First, you have to pay a registration fee of 500 and book your seat for a specific subject, on the assurance of obtaining a good, reasonable mark in the 12th. Then, after the announcement of 12th result, we can fix the seat by paying the caution deposit of Rs 10000 for the desired subject. For the same, certain criteria should be passed: 1) The KEAM entrance exam, the student should have a reasonable rank, enabling him/her to obtain the seats more likely than others. 2) For the 12th, a reasonable mark should be obtained by the student to increase the likelihood of obtaining a seat....Read More
