The factors that made me to choose take admission at the Sree Narayana Gurukulam college of Engineering is its faculties are well trained and experienced from various top institutes like National Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Technology.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus, curriculum and academics are updated and revised frequently, with these revision of syllabus faculties are trained to provide us with the best knowledge and provide each and every student with good industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

The placements are fairly good in numbers that reach out our campus to recruit students, those companies are mainly Information Technology firms and students get from MCA and computer science engineering gets the benefit over other students.

The technical fest, management fest, Arts fest, cultural fest, sports, events, seminars which are held at our campus every year as big festivals involving students from different colleges giving them prizes for the performance and encouraging them.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

I applied to various colleges for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. Other colleges such as FISAT, SCMS, and AdiShankara offered courses other than computer science and was also having high admission fees, compared to SNGCE. First, you have to pay a registration fee of 500 and book your seat for a specific subject, on the assurance of obtaining a good, reasonable mark in the 12th. Then, after the announcement of 12th result, we can fix the seat by paying the caution deposit of Rs 10000 for the desired subject. For the same, certain criteria should be passed: 1) The KEAM entrance exam, the student should have a reasonable rank, enabling him/her to obtain the seats more likely than others. 2) For the 12th, a reasonable mark should be obtained by the student to increase the likelihood of obtaining a seat....Read More
