Remarks

Top College in Mahatma Gandhi University and i got allotment here after applying with my entrance score and my diploma marks. This college is now working under A P J Abdul Kalam technological university

Course Curriculum Overview

Facilities are very friendly. Our curriculum is based on practical application of Engineering at the field and we are provided with necessary materials and lectures to understand it before its practical application.

Most of the companies are IT based companies that comes to our campus for recruitment process that include Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Sutherland, Federal Bank, Mathrubhumi, Manorama, Byjus, Wipro, Accenture, Accenta etc

College Events

ARANGU arts fest, Technical fests, seminars, workshops, sports both college level and inter college level, paper presentations, everything conducted in an unique way at college where every students participate and win prizes and appreciations from the management side

Campus Life

Well furnished classrooms, college have garden which attracts everyone, nice faculty rooms, computer labs, canteen, library, ground, spoken english classrooms, air-conditioned auditorium or seminar hall, hostel facilities nearby for both males and females etc.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

I applied to various colleges for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. Other colleges such as FISAT, SCMS, and AdiShankara offered courses other than computer science and was also having high admission fees, compared to SNGCE. First, you have to pay a registration fee of 500 and book your seat for a specific subject, on the assurance of obtaining a good, reasonable mark in the 12th. Then, after the announcement of 12th result, we can fix the seat by paying the caution deposit of Rs 10000 for the desired subject. For the same, certain criteria should be passed: 1) The KEAM entrance exam, the student should have a reasonable rank, enabling him/her to obtain the seats more likely than others. 2) For the 12th, a reasonable mark should be obtained by the student to increase the likelihood of obtaining a seat....Read More
