Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was well acquainted to the needs to students. All the latest trends in Interior design community has been covered in the syllabus. Industrial exposure was ok but not up to the mark as only distinction level students could avail this facility and not the average ones.

The institute conducts campus placement program regularly for its students. Institute??s students are placed in top designing organizations, architectural firms, civil engineering firms, interior design studios, paint industry, marble and tile industry, home furnishing industry, fashion designing studios. Companies that visit are - Arrow, Liberty, Calvin Klein, Duke, etc.

College Events

The college as such don't hold technical or cultural fests. The main fest that Exin holds is related to Auto cad development for designers with collaboration with work professionals. There's no other fest.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure comprises of library, auditorium, computer lab, canteen,sports ground,medical facilities, gym and hostel facilities.Air-conditioned classrooms and lab, equipped with LED and projector along with individual drawing board

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
