Remarks
The factor which mainly made me choose this college was that the mechanical branch out here is really good and since I got that branch I was drown into it without any hesitation.The faculties of this branch are maximum Ph.D holders.Even,the Cse and Ece departement are well built with its infrastructure and they are doing pretty well with placements from the last couple of years.Also the various clubs in our college is really active.Be it any technical club,robotics club,drama club,dance club,e cell club etc. all of them function well.The campus is lush green since it is a part of northeast India.If we talk about transportation,there is the Agartala Airport which makes it easier for the students to reach the campus without any problen.These are some of the factors which attracted me a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for our B.Tech course is well planned.The faculties are well enough from Tripura itself along with some faculties from other parts of India.We have a big library where we can find the required book of any subject.There are various laboratories for each department which is introduced to students in their induction program itself.Overall,an industrial atmosphere can be felt at NIT Agartala.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is better in the CSE and ECE department compared to the other branches like Mechanical,EIE,Chemical etc.The no.of students placed is like 70% every year.Companies like Capgemini,Axis Bank,Havells,Samsung,Oracle visited the college in the last few years.The alumni works pretty well in networking with job referrals and the Entrepreneur Cell is doing good too in this regard.
College Events
The campus life is really fun with all the technical fest 'Aayam,Cultural fest called 'Moksha',Dandiya night,Freshers Party,Sports Day celebration and many other events.Even all the clubs associated in the college have their own plannings and they build up teams every year.So,the students get an opportunity to learn many technical,non-technical and creative stuffs during their college life.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are fine enough There are single as well as double rooms.For first years,they provide double rooms,later on,single rooms are availed to them.There is a study table,chair,bed,cupboard,fan and shelf available in the room for the student.Also all the rooms are well ventilated with a window and a ventilation.
