Anonymous's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Agartala

I wanted to do any degree on engineering. And based on my rank on JEE Mains I got here. Offcourse I wanted to do in better college and with better brances, but my rank was not that high enough to get in such brances and colleges.

For course I would say it's similar with every top engineering colleges in India. It gets updated with time. For curriculum I would say it has best sports facilities like football, tennis, badminton, basketball, cricket, hockey,etc. There are also many clubs for dance, singing, technical, drama etc. One can expose themselves through here if they are interested. For placement it should have been much better. Academics it's depends on the students focus towards their own career and studies. For faculties most of them are quite educated with doctorate degrees, some did their research abroad. Some of them are really good in teaching. I don't have any favourite faculties on my list. But I do love all of them.

Placements are really good if you have good grades on each semester here. Because many companies takes good grades students here. There's also a prelim test before sitting for placement. For CSE almost everyone gets placement followed by ECE, EE,ME,CE. There's an entrepreneur cell if anyone has an exciting idea to start up this cell helps in financial and development matters

Campus life is great. There's lots of clubs one can join and participate. There's fest too like techfest aayam, hindi saptah, moksha etc. Every events is too fun to hang and enjoy. Moksha is a cultural fest where one can enjoy mostly culturally performance like dance, singing, drama etc and even competition of various events. Aayam is an annual tech fest held in November.

For infrastructure, the best would be sports like football, cricket, hockey, basketball, badminton, tennis, volleyball, athletes etc. Interested students can play at any sports. For inter NIT competition students are selected based on their capability and performance. WiFi there's not been installed in any boys hostel yet. So I would say it would have been good if it has been installed. Library is really good. It has wide varieties of book. And silent is maintained here. I think some equipments in labs should be more updated with the latest one

One of the best hostel facilities we have in NIT Agartala. For first year it's double seated room with single table and double bed. But from second year everyone gets their own personal room.Still there's no WiFi availability. Maximum of the students don't like mess food but with time it gets adjust.
