Remarks
This college is the best government college in our state after IIT Roorkee. It has a very good environment as far as self-study is considered. My reason for preferring this college was that it was the best I could get according to my ranking as well as the fees is also a good factor to join this college and it is a well-known college in Uttarakhand.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum needs some amendments although it is being changed regularly. Teachers are highly qualified all have done either PhD or MTech for exams I would say it is easy to score if you study from time to time.
Internships Opportunities
The internship is provided to students but on-campus internship opportunities are less. But you can try out for campus opportunities for internships. I have only heard about some companies like tata steel giving internship to a few students.
Placement Experience
Placements are fine but its increasing year after year. If you have all the criteria fulfilled then it's easy to get decent placement. Some of the companies that recruited from our college are Hero Moto Corp, Mahindra & Mahindra, whirlpool, TCS, tata motors, Google, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are not very much but if you have a scholarship you have to not think much about college fees apart from this college also provides tuition fee waiver to rankers at the time of admission after which you have to only pay hostel and mess charges.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. Time to time classes and few places to refresh your mind. College also have various clubs and societies so you can join according to your interest in whichever society you like college also have a big stadium with almost all the sports court or ground.
Hostel Facilities
For 1st year you have to share a room of 3. From the second year onwards the no. of person keep on decreasing and in 3rd and final year, you are provided with a single room. Food in mess is ok.
