Overall review

It has a good ranking while I took admission but is constantly decreasing since 2018 and secondly, I came here due to apparently good placement but now those days are gone when student use to get placement in core companies. You have to write jee mains and fill a form to go through admission with your jee rank as sile criteria for branch allotment.

I choose it due to my personal preference but instantly begin to regret it after 1st year due to ongoing conditions in college. Teachers are good but are controlled by the administration up to an extent that they are not in a position to take any decision by themselves. Overall well-qualified teachers but are very pressured by the Institute. Regarding exam seeing from last 4 sem out of 5 they are never held in a scheduled manner, either they get postponed or held in the next semester so you have to study all 10 subjects at some times.

Not many on campus but off-campus you can apply on your own and do the intern. But it may lead to attendance issues at the end because they do not give adequate attendance for the period and give only 14 days of attendance.

7th semester onwards you are eligible for placement. Companies visiting the campus for core job is less but you will get many mass recruiting companies which shift the overall placement to above 80% but you can't get enough CTC in those. Planning to write gate to get a good college in masters.

Fees are hiked by 10 percent every year and the cost of tution fees are not up to the standard that a student expects after paying such a heavy amount. There is a paucity of stipend or internship offered by Institute by its own to students and student have themselves search for any intern if they want to do it. Along with it, they do not provide adequate leave for the intern period leading to attendance issue in last.

Many clubs are working without adequate allotment of fund and student have to themselves fund for their projects without any support from the Institute. Expect for it many facilities are available but you will suffer time issues and can't enjoy many of the provided.

Mostly rooms are triplet and hostel are not well maintained but the mess is food for the amount they charge. You will get a study table and chair along with a bed and almirah overall you will find yourself nothing left.
