An overall review of my college

The university is located in the hills of Dehradun. It's a very nice and big university which offers a variety of courses from UG courses to PhD. The university has many clubs for enhancing students personality, talent, mind skills, logical skills and many more. It also has a well-maintained library which has a variety of books for students to study. The bad aspects I found is that the fees are Lil bit high and not all students get the placement. The admission process to enrol in this college can be merit-based and from jee rank also. You can easily get your favourite course in this college. I found the locality of this university very peaceful, pleasant weather most of the months and pollution is also very less there. The campus is very much well maintained and the faculty of the college is also very good. It also has moto car racing club in the campus which is very much interesting to students. The youthiyapa fest of the university which is held every year is soo much amazing.

I always had an interest in computers from my school days and was very keen to pursue more in this field that why I chose this course. The faculty of the college is very good and focuses on every course. The computer science teachers have done PhD from IITs and are very experienced in this field. One semester is of 5 months in which you have quizez midterms and end terms accordingly.

From 4th year students become eligible for campus placements. A large number of companies have visited the university for placement it's difficult to name them all. The highest package was around 30 lakhs given by amazon. Around 80% of students get campus placement easily. I want to be a software engineer after completing my degree.

The fees of BTech courses are around 1 lakh less or more depending on the course you are taking. If you have 80% above percentage in 12th you are eligible for the scholarship. Many companies come at the time of placement.

The annual fest of the college is called youthiapa and also many tech fests are held after few months for every branch students. The library is well maintained and contains a huge variety of books to study. Students can issue a book of their choice.

Never been through a GD yet. 12th marks and jee rank are the criteria for the admission process in the college. As it was a pandemic situation going on that's why the written test is held this year. Everything was done online.
