A brief introduction of life at Nrti

I chose to attend nrti because I always wanted to be part of something more innovative, something different from what the bulk and majority wants to do and pursue. I was quite amazed by looking at the academic facilities and its faculties which have completed their doctorate and MTech from renowned universities across the globe especially from transportation and rail dedicated universities and colleges across the globe. The college has professor from IITs, IIMs, JTTRI japan, KOTI, and many other colleges. The college also provides student exchange program in which the students of the college get an opportunity to complete their masters from foreign abroad universities. The college is on the campus of NAIR training and research institute of Indian railway which provides guidance and access modern equipment and advanced libraries for a better approach and training of the stuidents .

the college was inaugurated in 2018 by our honourable PM Narendra Modi, so its a new college with a completely different mindset and goals, its education system is completely dedicated and developed by Indian railways according to its own needs in order to develop better engineers for the upcoming metro, bullet trains, and monorail projects. It's a dream project and promise made by pm to the people Vadodara of a new railway college. With experienced professors and faculties, it is a complete package of innovation and thrilling adventure of the great Indian railways. All the professors are holding a PhD degree at minimum, with a specialization in their respective vested interests. There are only 120 BTech seats out of each only 101 have been allocated so they are students specific and are dedicated to their students. The students: teacher ratio is awesome as it has more than 22 teaching faculties and many more in the queue who have the first priority to understand students' interests.

Yes, the colleges offer internship opportunities at Indian railway, Delhi metro, siemens, railway, dedicated freight corridors, irctc, port and shipments authority of India, and many logistics companies. Posts like site seeing officer, project observer, facility developer associate, and assistants are provided during internships,

The college follows a trimester rule so it's way all different from semesters. One needs to focus on its grades and problem-related queries rest one needs to sure about is employability as there is no other college producing graduates like you. There is a good scope in Indian railways, national highway authority, shipment industry, and especially the airport authority of India, The field is quite diverse and one needs to be quite optimistic about it. The college has its first BTech batch this year but there are internships done by many Bsc Bba students and there is one Bsc batch graduating this year, with two of them being placed at 6 lakhs per anum at the very beginning of the placement season. We have Bsc Bba students doing internships in railtel, siemens, irctc, railways some of them with a stipend of 20-25 k.

Yes, there is a fee hike every year of 10%. For now, the BTech per year fees is 231000 which is quite genuine for a government institute with the hostel and mess charges including it. One would not regret the fees as it has the best campus infrastructure in my point of view and with mind-blowing hostel facilities which are no less than bits or top iits, WITH THE NEW HOSTELS THERE IS NO ISSUE OF PRIVATE LODGING WHICH WAS THERE FOR EARLIER BATCHES OF BSc AND BBA PROGRAMS. the cost to study is as expected but the college provides fee waiver to students having a low family income of 5 lakhs in a cycle of 10 top, most performing students among the eligible candidates beside these ones can apply for NSP and other state government scholarships. We have been informed of stipend of internships and training from very first year into big projects like Delhi metro, western railways, siemens,railtel, etc

The clubs here are awesome and one can start his own club upon their necessity to the college administration and students. With some awesome clubs like skills, robotics, rotary, literature, and photography clubs. There is no annual fest but there is a garbha night organized each and every year with equal students faculty and local participants which is a lot of fun. But we often visit nearby campuses and other colleges during their fest season and you can enter it using your college id cards or a permit letter from college it is well recognized and accepted in Vadodara. We often organize treasure hunts it's quite fascinating with a diverse campus with multipurpose gyms, a swimming pool, an indoor badminton court, a volleyball court, a basketball court, a football cum cricket ground, a dancing room, and musical rooms. We receive plenty of time to perfectly utilize them all. Beside all these, we are equally active on internet and can search us on Facebook, Instagrams,Linkedin, Twitter

We have still not been allocated our hostel rooms but got its glimpses while visiting the campus. One can just think of a newly built and colourfully painted full air-conditioned room by seeing it from outside and so did our seniors say that it is from inside. As the whole college is newly built but you are not going to find any construction debris or incomplete work. The rooms are there to accommodate two students and the space available is more than enough with sufficient ventilation and proper lighting facilities, and cupboards for clothes. The colleges are pre-registered and are accounted with the fees and allowed once you reach the college. The food here is awesome and one will fall in love with its taste and hygiene of the mess, the NAIR is going to allow one of mess to us so you are going to have an officer grade food just need to compromise with non-veg, alcohol and Gujarati food. Gujrati food sometimes becomes more problematic for the north Indians.

Well, the admissions are made on a merit list prepared on the mains score of students and the top students are called serially. There are no further tests or group discussion rounds but there is a personal interview where one needs to provide its certificates and migration certificates and all documents that a student receives after passing his or her 12 examinations from his respective school.
