Remarks

I chose NRTI because the very first thing one gets to his mind after hearing its name is the experience and affiliation from railways, yes Indian railways. Being the first of its kind and 4 of them in queue adds to its glory. If you are really looking forward to getting a government job in railways then just opt for it. The admission is made here on JEE Mains score and a minimum 75%score in 12th standard. The fabulous faculty and calm location add to it educational achievement, the NAIR campus proves to be a cherry on the top beside all these you are going to be one of your kind and no college produces graduates like you so stay affirmative about placements. The only negative aspect is the limited scope and lack of environment for any other non-technical job which lags it behind IITs.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course because of its uniqueness and legitimate nature of job well every father dreams of a government job. Faculty is world-class from IITs to IIMs with vivid range and well experienced. And for 120 students in 2 branches it's more than enough, a group of 22 faculties better say a family always keeps you happy and satisfied with trimester pattern and different subjects our faculty is able to keep up the pace but also adds to our information with ongoing research. Well with 3 exams a year mid sem, quizzes, assignment, tests it becomes too difficult for one and can't be restless with the study.

Placement Experience

5

Well we are the first batch of BTech so not quite aware of BTech placements but the students here are more employable than any other student of other colleges, placement are for sure if you are a good performer with internship each every year, well I have different plans for UPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of 1,31,000 are quite genuine with 45,000 hostel fees and 55,000 mess fee ahead it is quite comparable to the NITS and cheaper than IITS. Well, I would not say it too cheap but either too expensive as compared to its counterpart IMU. Each year there is a fee hike of 10% not on other charges. The college allows to take students NSP scholarship and provides aid to economically weaker students of society having income less than 5 lakh in rotation to the top performers of the eligible students.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is awesome, about 43 acres land is provided to the NAIR campus within which our campus of NRTI is located too. The campus is lush green and you are going to enjoy an official treatment as the railway treats it's IRS trainees. There is still no tech fest as we are the first BTech batch but we are planning one. There is Garbha night each year so one would get entertainment during the same. The libraries are well maintained and accessible to all. There is all air-conditioned classroom which is highly modern and enough for technical studies. The football team is awesome but we share our ground with NAIR so not a big deal, a good volleyball team and cricket. The technical clubs are started by our batches but there exists cultural, arts, photography, literature club, sing and dance.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

World-class hostel facility man, I was once amazed by the hostel facility provided by the college much more than one can expect newly built well air vents, colours perfectly put on and hygiene up to mark. The meals here are well served and cooked with awesome taste and flavour. One faces the problem if he or she hates Gujarati dishes.

There is no major problem in the curriculum regarding to the course. The curriculum covers almost all major real-world applications. But, the there is so much detailed and compulsive study on techniques that are not even used in today's time.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.
