WE ARE MSITians

This college has given me everything. Well knowledge , job , experience, very friendly environment to study , experienced faculty , friends and many more. I would like to tell one things about my college , the technical fest. Oh thats awesome. And there a technical club called megatronix , one who joins MSIT must join this club.

I had given West bengal joint entrance examination 2012. I chose information technology as my stream cause days are becoming technology based. So i had to choose this branch.

I was in information technology branch. It is a branch very similar to computer science branch. There were subjects based on computer languages and architecture. Humanity subject were also be taught like value and ethics , organizational behaviour etc. There were labs on computer based subjects.

No our college doesn't provide any internships as per my knowledge . I never heard of any interships provided by our college itself.

Meghnad saha Institute of technology is a college under techno india group. There are number of companies come for placements. Companies like Tcs , wipro, Bosch etc come every year. I am placed too. But many companies come where the campusing is done together for all colleges under techno india group.

There are many events celebrated in our college. I cant remember all the names.. there is culture fest and technical fest celebrated every year. For every freshers there will be wellfare party. And for every passout there will be farewell party as well.

For every semester i have paid average of 39000 which is quite expensive. For that you can take education loan. And at the time of admission they will took 39000 as caution money which is not refundable. For cultural fest , the fest community will ask for 1000 bucks which is optional.

Yes they offer many scholarships and half free full free fees etc offered by our college. They accept educational loan also.

The gender ration is equal. And one thing to be mentioned there are many cultural activities and workshops and technical activities as well. Megatronix is one which club creates that environment. theres no politics , student diversity , racism , imtolerance. No bad experienced.

Luckily my house is near my college so i did not take any hostels or PG. So i could not give proper reviews on this point. But there are many hostels and PGs available near our college and my friends from those hostels and PGs did not face any problems.

In our college theres no sign of ragging. One can not differenciat between juniors and seniors. They are so friendly and helpful.

This college is affiliated to MAKAUT and there are 8 semesters in the whole course , twice a year. And our college takes two unit tests every semester. Every semester contains lab exams and written exams. In 7th and 8th semester there will be project presentation.

The faculties are really good and experienced. They are always ready to help you in college and over phone calls as well. They will also help you in labs. But they are strict on examination. One should. I got help and suggestions every time whenever theres a need. And faculties are friendly too.
