Remarks

My college is one of the oldest engineering college of North India. It was established by India's first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Our college is lushy green and beautiful. It's placement is almost good. Its academic and extracurricular activities is also good, it attracts me to select it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course- Our college has all types of engineering disciplines like CE, ME, ECE, IT, EE and Leather Technology. All the disciplines has almost same teacher and student ratio. My Branch is Mechanical engineering, I choosed this one because it is a core branch and I have good interest in it. Our campus has good academic and extracurricular strength. The alumni of our college is working and giving their facilities not only in india but aboard too.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120 per year

Internships Opportunities

Pinkulo Gen-Z, It was an online 1-2 month campus Ambassador programme. Which was started in the month May.

Placement Experience

The placement status of our college is not much good. Nearly 30 -50 % students are got placed rests look for Gate examinations and furthur studies Or choose their carrier in Government Jobs. Nearly 60 % of our alumni belongs to Government sector.

College Events

We enjoy our campus life including academic and extracurricular activities. Our college has all types of clubs like UDGAM -The sports club, it encourage our sports enthusiasm. We have technical and innovation club -MOXIE, where we learn technical education and works on various events like Robotics. In the same way we have arts and cultural Club-JUNOON, which provides a platform for cultural encouragement.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's have both schlorship and loan facilities. Schlorship through NSP (National schlorship Program). Loan through DRCC and state Government.

Campus Life

The campus of our college is lushy green and beautiful. It has WI-Fi facilities with good internet connectivity, it has sports complex of Badminton, Cricket, volleyball and football. We have arts and cultural Club -Junoon, it gives a platform for cultural encouragement. Our library is also good. It has almost 10k book of various disciplines Besides Engineering our college has another campus of Pharmacy.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities our college is very fine. Our college has five separate hostel buildings like H1 or Damodar Hostel for first year students similarly H3, H4, H5. Our College has separate hostel buildings for Female Students GH. The mess facilities is good. And our hostel room are almost good having good internet connectivity

Befor 2019-BCECE but in 2019-IIT-JEE (Mains). My score 90 percentile

Motihari Engineering College in my Point Of View

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are eligible to seat and apply for campus placements . Eligiblity criteria depends on companies but if you have 7 CGPA ir more than that then you don't need to worry . Companies like Godrej, ACC,CDAC, BHEL, Infosys, WIPRO ,TCS etc. visited our college for campus placements. Highest package from our college is around 13 Lakh Per Annum and average placement is 3 to 4 Lakh Per Annum Its totally depends upon companies and their job profiles. There are almost 60 to 70 percentage student got placement ( In upper branches like CSE& AI percentage is slightly high otherwise it is quite low for civil and our branches) My plans after getting a degree that is I have to go for M.Tech from any IITs of India I am preparing hard for that.

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Genuine Review of Motihari Engineering College

Placement Experience:

From 6th semster you are eligible to sit in campus placement . There is companies like Infosys , TCS , De Walls Ads , Wipro, Congnizent, ACC visited our college for campus placements . They have limited offers with limited packages also they have some eligiblity criterias like students should have CGPA above than 7.5 . Highest package offered in our college is 13 LPA per annum by TCS for a CSE student and Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum. There is highest placements in branches like CSE ,EEE andCIVIL. Other branches got less offeres. Totally 50 to 60 percentage students got placements from our college because majority lower branch students are preparing for government exams like SSC , UPSC, BPSC , DAROGA and GATE. My plans after getting the degree to go for highes studies (M.TECH) .

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is companies like Wipro , Infosys, ACC, Copegimini, Congnizent, TCS visited our college for campus placements. There is very less number of offers given by companies and also there is almost negligible offers for Lower branches(like Mechanical and Civil) . There is highest 12.4 lakh per annum for a CSE student given by TCS and average salary of 4 LPA . There is only 50 to 60 percent students got placements in which majority are from CSE , CSE-AI , and EEE branches. My plans after getting the degree is doing M.tech from any reputed Colleges of India like some NITs or IITs depending to my Gate Score.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students become eligible for cmpus placements . Thera are a few companies like HCL, TCS, Wipro, Infosys , Cisco ,Figma ,ACC and so on visited our college for campus placement but limited offers . Percentage of placements is arround 60 % which is very low but students are trying there best . Higher package was 12.4 LPA by Infosys as SDE and avrage package of 4 LPA. My plans are not taking plaement , I am preparing for gate 2027 .

Placement Experience:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.
