Remarks

Placement and the college campus itself.One if the best private institutions in kolkata,with very good culture and more than average college staffs.Overall for me it is the best institution atleast in Kolkata.

Autonomous college with good faculties and overall academic result of the college is good,the college is best for CSE IT and ECE students.For me as I said one of the best college in West Bengal with every facility you need,overall for me it is always my dream institute.

Placement Experience

Amazon visits here with yearly package of more than 30 lakhs than many other mnc companies like tcs wipro Infosys are there too.

Every we are having technical fest and cultural fest.Cultural fest is one of the best college fest in the whole Kolkata but from past couple we are having issue with the fest but still it is one of the biggest fest here in kolkata.

Sports facilities is good,the college has tennis court basket ball court 3 big grounds for playing outdoor games like cricket and football.The college also has facilities for athletes and archers.Volleyball teamis also there in college and I myself is a part of College cricket team.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is easily available here but pg is cheapest with as low as 1000 rs per month but College hostel is for elite classes but middle class can also afford it.Girls hostel are easily available you can get at any moment of time but the number of boys seats are less as compared to girls.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
