Remarks

Best for education and placement facilities are quite good. There is no concern for ragging due to strict anti ragging squad. CO operative teacher help us to study without any doubt. I opted computer science and technology due to my passion and I enjoyed this subject. In first year we were taught c programming language and from second year we started learning DS and algorithms.

Our courses are full up to date set by MAKAUT. Although we get very less exposure of industry this year mainly due to Covid-19 situation and all. But we get well education through online classes. Few teacher are good but one maths teacher K. Mandal sir is excellent they taught us in entertainment way no single student get bore or leave in his class.

We have companies like TCS, Amazon, microsoft, Infosys and many others. The students get hire through interview and exam. Manu get direct job opportunity but few have to go through internship process. In our department (CSE) almost 97-98% students get placed.

College Events

Our campus life is full of enjoyment and we learn new skills every day. Cultural fest and fresher party is full of enjoyment and party but with great decipline. We have seen many celebrities guest like Zakir Khan and all. Overall all the fest and events organised in our college is full of information and enjoyment.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can get loan from banks easily. As I'm from Bihar our government provide loan for students on which we are relly on.

Campus Life

We don't have very big campus but we have one football ground, one vollyball and cricket ground. There is facility of indoors games and there is room for that overall sports facility is good. We also have WiFi in our campus and library which is find not very big it is just good. And labs is fully equipped with latest technology we get good exposure in our first year.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility provide by the college although they have tie ups with private hostel which you can get in the day of your admission. I'm not familiar with the charges and all as I live in flat with my friends.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
