GCCBA is one of the leading & premier commerce colleges among the other government colleges when we talk about studying commerce & other financial subjects. Excellent faculty with professional teachers who are ready to support & convey valuable teachings to their students. The only limitation is the fact that it somewhat limits the enrollment count by offering only 500-600 seats in total every new session so the cut-off marks remain high.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always keen to study Accountancy studies in my UG program so this college being solely teaching Accounts & finance (hons) in their UG courses made a clear cut remark that their faculty is highly knowledgeable & trained when dealing with Financial Studies. They conduct regular seminars & environment is good.
Placement Experience
After the 5th semester students get eligible to sit for the placement program where companies like Deloite,Wipro,Infosys and other corporate giants come and invest in ourselves. But the percentage of students getting placement is quite low only a hand few 7-10 get placed every year in a batch of 500-600 students but usually students who get placed tend to have a high salary package. One of the highest being 12 lakh a year.
College Events
Social life is good at the college,batch mates you tend to get friendly as the students who get admission are mostly good in their studies. There is an annual fest called "QUEST" which the students union with the help of college students make it happen. Annual sports event takes place every year between March -April. College Library is well equipped having all the neccessary amenities and is able to fulfill the requirements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government college the course fee is quite less they charge 5 rupees admission fee and a semester fee of not more than 600 rupees per semester.
