iiitbh is one the fastest growing iit and good thing is it have national importance. First placement is still going on and many companies (like amazon, TCS, national instrument and many other) hired from here with a good package. New and permanent campus is still under construction and fees are slightly heigh with respect to nit but as it is iiit so, fees are similar to other iiits.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure and faculty members are really great, as iit guwahati is parent institute of IIITBH. So, the faculty's are well qualified and experienced. However online semester is a bad option so, we are waiting for reopening.
Internships Opportunities
Training and Placement Cell of IIITBH is really very hard working, they are providing both types of internship off and on-campus. As iit Guwahati is the parent institute of IIITBH, they are also giving opportunities to do internships on their campus.
Placement Experience
This was the first campus placement as IIITBH was started in 2017. Many companies visit here and provide a good package. Amazon provided the highest package of 30 lacks. And many other companies like TCS, National instrument, etc are also provided a decent package.
Fees and Financial Aid
A fee is slight heigh but worth it because academics are very strong here and the new campus is currently under construction which is supposed to finish some part of it by June 2021. However current campus is also good.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good, Bhagalpur is the third-largest city in Bihar, and the campus of IIITBH is situated near Ganga which makes it an awesome location. Currently, BCE has GIVEN some part of its campus to IIITBH. And the new campus is under construction which will be made partially usable from June 2021 (expected). There are many clubs here including sports clubs also and we have launched a platform name cinesilk to improve the college life of students by the student
Hostel Facilities
Separate Hostels are available for girls and boys. Hostels are really good and also cheaper they will cost around 12-14k per semester. Mess facilities are also better than many colleges and A variety of foods are being provided here.
Interview Experience
The admission process is only through JOSAA and CSAB. You have to get good marks in jee main depending upon in which category you belong. For general you should have a minimum of 96 percentile in order to get a good branch and greater than 97 will be a safe zone for CSE
