Remarks

This college is good in terms of study but is below average in terms of placement. I got admission to this college through CSAB on November 26. I got this college on basis of my merit and is quite affordable, so I choose this college. I visited college Duniya also to read the review of this college, I was satisfied with everything except its placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as I am very interested in working on mobile chips and all. The student and faculty ratio is good, faculties are enough to handle the students. Teachers are highly qualified and especially Teachers teaching me have done BTech from ECE, the Teaching method is good, they explain everything clearly. We have 2 sessional exams per semester and 1 semester exam at last. The level of the exam is moderate and you will have to study to score well in exams.

Course Fees: INR 111000 per year

Placement Experience

In our college students are eligible for placement in the 4th year only. Bhel, Tisco, Wipro etc are some companies who visit our college. CTC provided by companies is 10 lakhs pa as I remember, placement ratio is not good, very fewer students get placement through our college. I will complete my BTech and then will go for placement. If I get placement on campus then well and good otherwise I will try for off-campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is quite good and affordable. College also provides a hostel facility but you will be charged extra for this. You will have to pay 111000 per year as your College fees and around 40000 per year as hostel fee approximately. I haven't got any scholarship till now.

Campus Life

There are many fests which are conducted in our college. Recently on 4th March, a program was held in our college as our college get established on that day only. The classroom is quite good in size to accommodate 60 students and is properly ventilated. There is the provision of cricket, volleyball and many other games in our college with suitable courts for each game. Currently, I am in a club named CHARBANIC in which every type of competition related to debate, art and online game is conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
