Remarks

The college has good Infrastructure, also have good labs for practicals. Admission depends on your marks. Took admission for 11th and 12th from the same college, so I applied for a degree as well. Also heard that the placement for students is best here, Didn't refer to any blog, Good college Overall.

Took BSC(IT) because I am interested in IT and coding, 200 students can admission here for BSC(IT), there are plenty of teachers, Teachers are qualified, Exams were done on time and I passed with medium difficulty.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year students can get placements. Well known companies like Infosys, Accenture, TCS, Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Godrej, etc visit this college for placement. The highest known package is 16 lakh per year. I plan to continue my degree in IT.

Fees and Financial Aid

The term for this course is 3 years and it has a total of 6 semesters, and we pay the fees each semester. The cost of studying is affordable becuase they also provide e-books for the subjects so I don't need to buy one and even if we need a physical copy, the library provides it.

Campus Life

Festivals like Trishna and Tarangan are enjoyable, There are plenty of books in the library for the required course. Journals for practicals are given on time, The classroom is well maintained and air conditioned.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

TCSC is tremendous!

Admission was on 12th score as cut-off for Maharashtra board students was 78% and for other boards if from Maharashtra it was 84%. For OMS (Outside Maharashtra) it was 88%. So I was in that 84 % bracket and made it just by edge as mine was 86%. Nearly 300 seats and over 30k students compete for that....Read More
