Remarks

The college provides a great environment for people seeking political science courses. It provides one with a lot of platforms that enhance the confidence and other skills of a person. One bad aspect could be that the college is too old and maybe because of that reason the infrastructure is not too good I took admission in Ramjas on 31st Nov.Through the sixth cut-off list. The whole admission process was online. Lots of extracurricular activities along with several amazing societies compelled me to choose this college over others

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen political science because of my interest in the particular subject. And as I'm a UPSC aspirant the course would also help me further. Faculty ratio - 1:70 The faculty is very qualified. All of them have pursued Hons or PhD from well-known colleges. The teaching method is also great. Things are explained using examples and daily life instances. Exams are held every three months and are of moderate difficulty level.

Internships Opportunities

A variety of internships are offered by various companies. Project Indra Dhanush to help the needy and various such projects for social workers are sponsored by companies. For economics also several projects come up every other day

Placement Experience

The placement is good. Students of the third year are eligible for campus placement. A lot of company's visit the college for placement. Forex VIPRA, etc. The highest average package could be 7-8 lakh. The percentage of a student getting placement is 60. I would pursue Mphill in political science

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are not too much. There are reasonable charges. Yes, we have an opportunity of scholarship too if one wants to avail. A few societies also help in the financial assistance of students. There are no campus jobs

Campus Life

The annual fest is held in December. Tech fest is held often. We can expect to have it after every 3 months. There are books of almost every kid in the library. The classroom is quite simple and moderate and not too fancy. The college has both indoor and outdoor stadiums with lots of sports facilities. Students run some societies. For example The literary club, ABVP, quiz societies, societies to help UPSC aspirants.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
