Remarks
The college is best for engineering in space science but there will be some issue of the language if a student has faced difficulty learning English so it will be very challenging for him or her. The Admission process is simple if you clear jee advanced then apply to their website and then you have to do your counselling and you have to pay a fee of 35 thousand to reserve your seat in the college. It is the only college in India who recruiting Student directly to isro. I had known about it by a quora blog.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have a dream to get into the isro and I have a great interest in astronomy and astrophysics so I have chosen the dual degree program in this college. Faculty are very great mostly all professor are PhD and they were teaching us in a great manner and the ratio of boys to the girl is 151:4 They have had great knowledge and we like our professors teaching style. Two sem in a one year and there are several unit exams are also there.
Internships Opportunities
The internship program is only for BTech students who can get a free internship at an Australian University and all over India. If you want to get an internship outside India you have to maintain a top rank in the academic year
Placement Experience
There is a great placement inside the iist mostly Student are got absorbed by isro and drdo and rest were adsorbed by other private companies like airbus Phillips wpro and many others. Almost 70 to 80 percent of students got placed in iist and some students who didn't get the job try to clear isro exam or taking higher education like MTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure in this college is very simple if you want to get a scholarship then you have to get at least 7.5 cgpa and your all semester fees will be refunded and for sc st students if they get more than 6 .5 they get 100% fees back and if the cross 5.5 cgpa then they get 50 % scholarship
Campus Life
DHANAK is a main cultural fest in the iist and mostly they will be held in September and October. There is a specialised library which contains almost all books related to our study. There are many sports ground gym indoor court and many others. And there are many dance, drama, yoga etc groups of extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
There is a facility of rooms and very clean and good quality beds with an Almira and two persons have to share their rooms. The meal quality is good but not for me as I am North Indian so I don't like food as much but it was good. The registration process is simple when you register for the college at the same time you have to apply for the hostel and it will be very affordable more than a separate room.
Interview Experience
There is no gd in this collage a simple basis of selection based on jee advanced score they will rank you as per your jee advanced score and they select 144 students out of all selection and if your advanced score makes a position in top 144 students then you have got selected and you have to pay a fee of 500 rs to make an account with iist and simple you have to clear jee advanced and there is no Interview.
