JEC, my dream college

In my way, College is too much good. The infrastructure is very good. The college has two new buildings along with some old buildings. Admission is done through Assam CEE. The examination is generally held in the month of May. The reason for preferring this college over others is that it is a very old institution so it has very well faculties who have too much experience.

I have chosen mechanical engineering because I have too much interest in machines. Here the faculties are well qualified. Most of them are pass out from IITs. Their teaching styles are quite well. There are almost 70 faculties in our college. .All the exams are conducted by ASTU timely

College provides three internships for the students. Students of civil engineering get internships in PWD, CEMENT factories, and other construction sites. Mechanical engineering students go to PSUs like OIL, ONGC, and also to INDIAN RAILWAY.

Students get their placements from the 7th semester onward. Companies like COGNIZANT, VEDANTA, WIPRO, TCS, INFOSYS, HUL come here every year. Also PSUs like OIL, ONGC, APDCL come here for placements. In CSE around 80% of students get placed every year. In mechanical around 40%, in electrical around 45%, and in civil around 30% get placed every year.

Here the annual cost of a student goes around 30000 rs only. It is very less in comparison to other engineering colleges. In the hostel, the annual cost is around 40000rs. Students are offered all the scholarships like ISHAN UDAY, UGC, NSP, INDIRA GANDHI UG, Colgate, etc.

The annual fest here is named phoenix. It is held in the month of March every year with a huge budget. Very well-known pop stars along with Bollywood singers come here to perform. Besides this college also organize tech fests, induction programs, seminars, etc for the students. The college has a very big central library along with individual libraries in all branches. Sports opportunities are given to all the students. The college has a big Indore stadium also. Clubs like the coding clubs, robotics clubs are here for the students.
