Remarks

Manav Rachna has a great infrastructure and good teachers who will support you throughout. There will be many chances for a student for Research projects, and any others if you want to do. Also, if they really like your business idea , they might also provide you funds. They have 2 very enriched libraries with books from all subjects and genres. The canteens are great and clean too . The campus is so huge that you might not be able to find your way at the first go. Also, they offer good scholarships based on 12th marks' merit. One bad thing I found about the college was it's administration department. I was a student availing 100% scholarship so I had to pay my fees only once a year, while others did it in installments of 2. The scholarship students have to run here and there to prove them that they had scholarship and didn't have to pay the fees of 2nd installment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had an interest for computer science and so I took this course. There are faculties who teach more than a subject. The student: faculty ratio might be considered 60:1 Faculties are well qualified, some of them are even holding PhD degrees, and they teach well. There are 2 sessional (30 marks each), then practical's and then the final term 100 marker exams. The difficulty level I'd say was 7/10.

Placement Experience

4.5

The students become eligible for placement in the 7th semester. Multiple companies come into the campus to hire students , offering 3-10 lakh per annum. The highest package was 12 LPA made in Management/sales profile. Around 80% of students get placed. I am currently doing a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for one single person did not increase in the course of 4 yrs . What one paid for 1st yr, it'll be the same for 4th yr. For 2016 batch it was Rs 1,65,000/yr which had to be paid in 2 installments at the start of semester. They give scholarship based on 12 merit. More than 90% got 100% scholarship, 85-90% got 50% scholarship and 80-85% got 25% scholarship on tuition fees. I availed 100% scholarship and had to pay 65000 per year. But for that, you have to maintain a CGPA of 7. I got placed in an MNC with Rs 4.15 lakh per annum.

Campus Life

4

The name of the annual fest is Resurrection and conducted around October. The classrooms are well equipped with benches ACs blackboard etc. There are ample opportunities for sports and extra curricular. They even have a separate group for art activities.

Interview Experience

4.5

Basic questions related to computers and 12th class courses were asked in PI. I prepared by revising my basic concepts related to computers and 12th class course. It was not difficult to pass that interview. The interviewers were friendly.

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
