Life in DIT and Life after DIT

I am a student of 1 year pursuing BTECH in CSE from DIT UNIVERSITY In General, I have a lot of points regarding the good and bad aspects of my college. To be very honest I got to know about this college through an advertisement. I decided to take admission to this college after a lot of research and reviews. ADMISSION-- you can take admission simply by just filling a registration form. There are no such criteria here for taking admission. you can easily get a Computer science branch here if you have scored even 60% in your 12 boards. The admission process starts here in the month of July but due to COVID it may get extend this year. The major reasons why I Preferred this college is its Past placements records, a very good location, and beautiful campus situated between MASOORIE and DEHRADUN. Some Bad aspects -- Management is very poor. Staff is not cooperative. I have gone through some reviews from College Duniya while selecting this college.

I was selected Btech in CSE as my course for graduation keeping in mind that in the future demand for Computer science engineers will grow. I am a student of 1 year. The students and faculty ratio of my college is very balanced. All the faculty members all well qualified some of them are from IIT's. Our university follows the FFCBCS pattern for subject selection so the student is not bounded to study and particular subject except Maths and programming. Some teachers are very good at interacting with students while some of them don't even know any student's name they just come teach and Go. Coming to the exams Our University takes term exams every 2 and a half months there are so many quizzes and open book tests during the whole semester . and for the midterm and end-term exams the department sets a very moderate level of question paper but the evaluation is quite tuff. But If you have attended all the classes then it is not very difficult to gain good marks.

Yes, Our college provides internship opportunities on campus. But for grabbing them you should have some skills related to your course. Currently, I am in 1 year so I didn't get any internship yet But I am definitely looking for one from the second year.

Currently, I am in 1 year so I actually don't have experienced with the placements yet But I can tell some facts that I know about placements in B.tech CSE. 1. Highest CDC offered is 35 lakhs by Work India Group in session 2020-21 2.Companies Like Amazon ,Lenovo, DELL have offered jobs to students. 3.There are 1250+ jobs offered this year in our college. 4. An average student with some interview skills can grab 1-2 jobs in hand easily here.

The Actual fees for B.tech in DIT UNIVERSITY IS 120000/- per semester. Well, the academic teaching fees are 80000/- and an extra 40000/- are for in-campus academic activities including labs and events. Hostel fees are affordable that is 120000/- per year. Overall expense is around 360000 /- per year SCHOLARSHIP-- they provide scholarships on a different basis. 1-Special scholarship for girls 2- Scored more than 80% in 12. 3-Scored more than 90 percentile in JEE mains . 3-Scholarship for UTTRAKHAND domicile . As of now I didn't got any stipend as I am in first year .But some of my seniors are getting internships based on there skills . So if you are serious about your academics and have some technical skills the Our university provides a lot of opportunities throughout the 4 year course.

The best part of being a Ditian is to feel the Pleasure of the weather. The college organizes Various events and fest Like YOUTHOPIA (Best 3 days of the year)Students takes part in it and enjoy it a lot. There are a lot of clubs that also provide a lot of opportunities for students to explore themselves and to enjoy as well. like The coding clubs, Research Clubs, and The Cultural Club We have a very big library in our college Named VEDA With All type of books available there. and the best thing is there is a MAC lab in library. The classrooms provide a very comfortable environment for study as the view from the windows is worth watching. We never get bored in our campus If you have good friends then you can spend the best time of your life so far in college .the best place to chill out with friends is ROOFTOP CAFE. If you are a hosteller then you have access to some extra things like a separate hostel campus, basketball court, badminton court Overall The campus life is worth in DIT
