Remarks
In the beginning, it was out of no alternative as I could not clear other colleges cut off. But anyway, as the graduation years came by I liked my college. Its Ashok garden is perfect during the chilling winters. The college faculty is good for this course. I don't have much idea of other course faculty but ours especially second and third-year Eco Hons course teachers are very good (Micro in 2nd year).
Course Curriculum Overview
This course has a wide spectrum of career options. You can even sit for placements in 3rd year. The only course which gives high placements. Most of the faculty are JNU or DU pass outs. You need to study for this course if you want to score how. You can imagine by its high cut-offs.
Internships Opportunities
There many lesser-known companies which provide internships but I have heard from juniors that McKinsey offered an internship for 45k per month. There are live projects. You can ask your teachers for live projects or being in some social service clubs, you can have many projects. Enactus and NSS provide many projects.
Placement Experience
6th-semester students are eligible to apply for campus placements. Companies like Bains and Co., KPMG, etc visit our college. Some are known and some unknown. I did not participate in campus placements as I decided to go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The examination fees are included in the annual fees. The fees had been hiked, at present, to my knowledge, the course fee is 12k per year. University has many scholarships for students. Internships are offered both with a stipend and without a stipend by the placement committees.
Campus Life
North campus is a famous one. You can attend all fests of Delhi University's colleges. The College library has almost all the books. Classroom size differs according to benches. Teachers decide to take class according to class strength. Sports facilities are available. There are many clubs and committee.
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel is only for boys. Hence, I don't have much idea. You can have a PG in Kamla Nagar, Roop Nagar. It will cost around 10k-15k per month as of now (2021). University girls hostel is there in Mukherjee Nagar. You can apply there but be sure to apply as the availability of seats are less in the hostel.
