Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really tough.I don't know why an engineering student have to study physics and chemistry in the first year.The new university KTU is really tough.Main issue with KTU is regarding the paper evaluation.

Placement Experience

Many companies came for recruitment like Wipro,Infosys,TCS,IBM.A lot of student took part in the event and many of the talented studenta were placed in these companies.My college does not provide any internships.

College Events

We have seasonal celebrations like Onam,Holi,Christmas.And our college eventa like arts day,annual sports day.We have our technical event.Then we have individual events conducted by different branches.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Merit students has to pay 42000.While management students will have to pay 70000.The fee is quite feasible compared to other colleges with same facilities.We have seperate hostel for boys and girls.We have a huge ground for sport events.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college offers scholarships to students whom they think has the potential to make the college proud and to the ones with the performance to bring good results tonthe college.They consider them as their assets.

Campus Life

We have seperate team for football,cricket,volleyball,basketball.We have labs such as chemistry lab,physics lab,computer lab,mechanical labs.All the labs are very good.We have all the latest equipments.

Admission

I wrote the Entrance exam and was ranked at 32000 which was eligible for the college merit list.I applied for the college they reviewed my results and called me for admission.I was told to visit the college for interview with the management.Later on I was selected.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

I applied to various colleges for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. Other colleges such as FISAT, SCMS, and AdiShankara offered courses other than computer science and was also having high admission fees, compared to SNGCE. First, you have to pay a registration fee of 500 and book your seat for a specific subject, on the assurance of obtaining a good, reasonable mark in the 12th. Then, after the announcement of 12th result, we can fix the seat by paying the caution deposit of Rs 10000 for the desired subject. For the same, certain criteria should be passed: 1) The KEAM entrance exam, the student should have a reasonable rank, enabling him/her to obtain the seats more likely than others. 2) For the 12th, a reasonable mark should be obtained by the student to increase the likelihood of obtaining a seat....Read More
