My family forced me. Because my family member told my parents that the college was good. So thats why my parents admitted this college. I told many times of my parents that i don't want to admitted in this college. But no one hear me.

Mechanical Engineering is a good course and it's mother trade subject. And many jobs available in bangalore. Like design engineer job. Similarly power plant, coal plant, ntpc

When we promote for 4 th year then college will allow for the placement. But collge will not give any single campusing. Even after passing out. They only told after pass out we will send you placement mail till 2 years.

I don't get anything. I got scholarship from west bengal government. Its a good scholarship who have sc or st. And also who have 70% number in all semester.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
