Sri Venkateshwara college (venky)

I am from Sri Venkateshwara college.i opted for It many of my seniors has told me that it would better place To prepare for upsc after Stephens and as I am Telugu and it being A college supported by TTD .We can Apply through Du portal from there we can choose our college based on the cuttoffs.Our college faculty are really very interactive and friendly. mostly our classes go through in a discussion manner.the placements are not there Ba programming students but the placement cell of college is really working Greta .they provide us with many opportunities like paid and unpaid internships.College is full Of greenery.As So far I Don't Visit the college due to covid.as per Information provided by others who visited classrooms are average.Hostel with AC facility is there.

I opted for BA programming History+political science as I thought of preparing for upsc.exams are conducted as per DU guidelines. Faculty are highly qualified and experienced. they solve very small doubts of students. For every subject, we have tutorial classes where we can clear our doubts.

Many Paid and Unpaid internships are offered in our college. Some internships are for posts like campus ambassador etc. Different internships offer different job profiles. Any year students are eligible.

The placement is not really good for BA programming. But you can apply off-campus Just build your CV really nicely Upgrade your skill.B.com Students has the chance of getting placement. I don't have more information about the package but as far as I know, it is average. Through placement cell you can get many opportunities.

College fee is 12500.hostel fee will be separate apart from this .it changes year by year At present it 8k/month as far as I know.Hostel seats are limited (144 Approx).Two beds per room.We can apply for Fee concession .

We didn't Visit the college so far but we had Virtual orientation programme, Farewell etc.College has many societies like dance society with different nomenclatures.It has library and lot of books available there.You can check more information at SVC.ac.in

We can take admission through Entrance or merit based till now.but University thought of changing the admission process from this year. Both Entrance exams and merit are considered.60%of entranceAnd 40% of 12 th marks are taken into consideration in giving admission.
