Remarks

Its one of the best private medical colleges in India and apart from studies it provides the student's opportunities to excel in other different fields such as dance, singing, instrumental, drama, designing and many other fields. It even provides many medicine-related clubs such as for surgery and forensics to give a broader view to the students and encourage them to take them in future. This college provides the skills to even get up many scholarship exams such as USMLE and also help prepare students for PG entrance.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The medical course is itself a very challenging one and both students, as well as the faculty, need to put in their best. The faculty we have is really helpful and their way of demonstrating and teaching us is commendable. Our college focuses more on the practical aspect and even in the first year they conduct clinical exposure to the students so that they get accustomed to the patients and the hospital.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internship for mbbs students is for one year and a monthly stipend of around 30,000 is provided during that time period. Students get to experience a lot as they are exposed to many patients round the year.

Placement Experience

4.5

Campus placements provided by KMC is very good. MBBS students are provided with internships in kmc hospital and even in other hospitals all over India. Stipend provided to mbbs students is good and as the students are more into practical knowledge so they get job easily in hospitals.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our annual fee is 14.4lakh tuition fee and 1.8lakh hostel+mess fee. Our college has legit the best infrastructure and the facilities they provide the students are too good. They provide many scholarship exams for students and help them prepare for it.

Campus Life

5

Manipal provides an amazing campus life. We have food courts and many eatery places in our campus itself. We have a sports complex Marena which provides various indoor as well as outdoor sports and gym too.Our college conducts many fests and competitions.

Hostel Facilities

4

We have different hostels for boys and girls. We have single as well as double rooms and ac and non-AC are available according to the fees. Hostel accomodation is really good and it's properly ventilated with clean corridors. Mess facilities are excellent with good and varied food.

Interview Experience

5

The admission into Kasturba medical college is through merit in the national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET). Admission is through all India quota and there's a cut-off that needs to be cleared by students to get admission here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
