The good thing about Bakhtiyarpur College Of Engineering is, it is comes under Government Engineering College in bihar as it has low fees structure with best facilities. The admission Process in this college is first you have to apply and appear in JEE mains exam. Then you have to register on UGEAC ONBCECE official website.On the basis of your rank of JEE mains exam a merit list of short listed candidates out. Students who was on merit list can participate the counselling process. Then if you're eligible then you get admission in this college after document verification.

I choose Electrical Engineering in this college because Placement in this course in this college is very good in past years. The faculty to students ratio is quite good as it is 1:30. All Faculties and Professors are well behaved, well trained, and very supportive in nature. All faculties are highly knowledgeable in their respective field of teaching. The term exams or semesters are likely to hold in every 6 months. The teachers support students and they well teach to qualify in the semester exams. As term exams are not so quite difficult to pass but the regular study is needed.

Final year or 4th Year students are eligible for campus placement. Students need at least 8 CGPA to participate in Campus Placement. Most of the Placement are from CSE and EEE branch. The highest package offered is 10 LPA in 2017 from the CSE branch. Many companies visited for Placement like IBM, Infosys, Accenture, Jhonson Prism Cement etc. The average salary as per company profiles is 4 lacs per annum. The placement of core branches like the Civil and Mechanical branch is quite very low. So most students who don't get placement can go to prepare for GATE and Masters also.

The fees structure is quite very low because this college comes under Government Engineering colleges in Bihar. The maximum fees for this course are approximately 25-30k per annum. Unfortunately, college doesn't provide any scholarship for students. But those students who belong to a minority or having a caste certificate can have a concession in their fees. It is easily affordable for those students who belong to a middle-class family. The amount you have to pay here is worth what they give you in return.

On the campus, there were academic buildings, a lawn full of flowers and trees, a hostel for boys and girls, a cricket field library, a workshop etc. There were more than 30 classrooms with various laboratories like Digital Electronics lab, Microprocessor Lab, Computer Lab, Electrical Lab, Civil Engineering Lab. There are 3 events held every year like annual sports annual cultural fest and annual function. These events are organised to keep students involved and participate to exhibit their inner talent and express it. There were also various branch wise groups of students for cricket and other sports.

On the campus, there are 2 boys and 1 girls hostel present now. There were also mess facilities available with good quality of food. There were a variety of menus of food according to the price range. The hostel is fully safe and secured and also 24 hours you get wifi and electricity. For registration of the hostel, you need to contact the college administration and hostel warden. Outside the college PG or rented room also available but they are not safe for students because the college located in a rural area. But the college hostel campus is really safe and secured.
