Remarks
It is among the top 5 colleges in Pune and the best engineering college in Pimpri Chinchwad. The college focuses on all-round development of students. However, some of the teaching staff is not very good. The admission process was long and tiresome but that was a mistake from the SPPU side. I got to know about my college from College Dunia itself.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I preferred learning about Electronics and Telecommunications. There is enough faculty for students. They even have PTGs for students. Faculty are very qualified with many patents and many are pursuing PhD. The teaching method is good. Exams are timely and scheduled.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, there are a ton of internship programs. Some on campus and major off-campus ones. Online internships are also offered to students. Internship tasks depend on the company offering the internship. It may include tasks related to the program.
Placement Experience
T&P cell of our college works hard to get maximum of our students placed. Those who opt to not get placed are generally those who are preparing for entrance exams. Companies like Cognizant, Tata motors, Forbes marshall, Dassault systems, Volkswagen etc. The highest offered has been 22 LPA Average package is 5 LPA. 90% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Considering its part private trust, part government college, fees is in moderate to high range. Students with financial difficulties are given special quotas and have lesser fees. I haven't received any scholarship as such.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest called 'Swartarang' that is held in January. Other than that there are a couple of tech fests like KPIT Sparkle, Techligent etc. There is a diverse library in our college which consists of books according to department and subjects. Classrooms are well equipped with a PC and projector. There are various social groups, clubs and student teams for eg: ISR cell, ETSA, Team Solarium.
Interview Experience
None. There were no group discussions, interviews or written tests for admission. The admission is done on basis of either your JEE or CET percentile. Preparation of this is done in the 11th and 12th standard.
