A second year student in mea branch iiitbhagalpur

This college is an IIIT. Among the highest preference in case of national importance.I have applied for csab form, which declared its result in Aug 1 2019, and I was allowed this college and admission process was between 2 to 5 Aug. I reach the college campus and completed all the admission process. I was admitted in Mechatronics Branch and was curious about it, so change for college never crossed my mind. It's a good college, it has temporary campus but is enough satisfying.

Mechatronics is a new branch in India and is indeed exciting, as its a combination of many branches like computer science, mechanical, electronics, etc. Teachers are good enough as expected from a new college. There are two terms in each year of four months each. Each term has two exams, midsem and endsem examination, both comprised of written and practical exams. The teaching method is good, they use digital projector in classes. Examination are moderate.

I don't have much knowledge about this. But still can't say about future as facilities are planning to arrange some in near future. So might be there any chance. But I m still not sure as I have never approached faculty for this purpose yet. So it's a bit hard to say as I don't have enough knowledge regarding it.

We have our first placement in 2020. Aug package was 8.8 lakes per an. Amazon and some mnc companies came to the campus for the software developer, etc. 30% of students get placed. I will try for college placement but if nothing works then go for off-campus placement.

Actually, according to other IIIT, it's costly. Also it is not governmental completely. It's is run by public and private parties. So it's costly. As it's a new college, so it's a bit hard to get scholarships and other funds as it still needs to be registered in various scholarship firms owned by various states within the country. But Bihar, Uttarpradesh, Andrapradesh students get scholarships. For other states it's a bit long process, also due to lockdown I was unable to apply for a scholarship.

As it's still a new arising institute, fests are yet to be held. But cultural and technical clubs are running very well. Various activities are done weekly. The cultural club is very well organized by the students, we also have ebsb club which is formed to held national activities of ebsb firm. Cultural Club consists of music, singing, dance, animation, cinematography, etc. Each club has more than three meets per week and keep on growing up. Technical clubs consist of the coding club, robotics club, electronics club, cloud computing club, etc. And all these clubs have monthly quizs and activities. There is badminton, volleyball, cricket and football sports played in sports club.we also arranged our frist sports fest in Feb 2020. One can search for clubs on social media like LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook also YouTube. Classroom are good with air-conditioning facilities and av projectors.

As we are in a temporary campus, but permanent campus would get ready soon till 2023 or so. So we have been allotted hostel which is very good. Food is good enough. There is wifi and Lan facilities for internet connections. The rooms are good.
