I applied for Josaa counselling but I want to get CS in top nit's but I wasn't able to get a seat in CS so I looked forward to Private colleges. I applied for VIT and Thapar University for my admission luckily I got CS in both colleges but I preferred Thapar due to my good placement record as compared to VIT and also I am north Indian so I preferred Thapar. In 2020, Thapar took the majority of student on basis of their board result but I got my branch due to my jee main rank that was about 15K. The counselling process was only on online mode although it's a nice college I don't like its huge number of fees. Online cutoffs for various courses my time COE branch cutoff was 98.2 percentile in jee mains and mine was 98.5.

I have chosen this course because I want to do something in the technical field and also want to increase my technical knowledge. We can say that the proper professional faculty to student ratio currently is 1:40. Some of our Tut teachers are still doing PhD but our lecture is experienced in teaching line. There are 3 most quizzes for each subject and some sessionals and 1 offline est in the first sem. Passing the exam is not difficult here.

Companies like Microsoft Amazon Western digital express apple google visits here and also many other companies provide internship opportunity and here students make many incredible projects of web dev, app dev, machine learning etc for getting good interns and experience.

More than 80% of students get placed here and the placement percentage for computer branch courses are very good i.e more than 90%. The highest package in 2020 was 43 lakhs while avg was 7 lakhs. I also want to get a good job in my 4th year.

Fees of this college remain the same for some years and then they increase it. I got a merit scholarship of 234000 on basis of my JEE Mains percentile (98.5). I am studying in the 2nd sem so I am still experiencing my college.

Societies fest and many other annual fears are there as I heard but I didn't witness any one of them due to Covid 19. Sports facilities here are also good u r free to play any sports(soccer, cricket, basketball, volleyball) on campus. Some of societies and group I heard is owasp enactus etc.

Online fees were deposited for hostels and the mess was of Sodexo. Facilities we're good enough to live there. The hostel life there was also good you can make many memories there. Rest all depends on you how active you.
